Young Mia said, “From where people go when they die. Soon after, her mother, Sarah, played by Sarah Snook of Succession, starts to share some family history, but this opens up a bag of worms that Sarah is unprepared to tackle.
She has strong convictions about life, but when her little daughter starts to exhibit various troubling behaviors, she sees her beliefs being progressively tested.
One of Mia’s alarming indicators is that she resembles Sarah’s sister Alice. The person who disappeared was seven years old, the same age as Mia., regarding personality characteristics and memory recall.
While Mia looks confident that she is impersonating her late aunt, Sarah is convinced that her daughter is simply having fun.
