Rather than going to Parliament, Charlotte suggests that George bring Parliament to him by hosting a celebration at Buckingham House in honor of their son.

As they go out, George begins to shake, but Charlotte soothes him by holding his hand, encouraging him to keep his eyes on her, and reminding him that it’s just him and her.

The event is a success, and Princess Augusta appreciates Charlotte for making her son happy. Charlotte is now in the driver’s seat, and Augusta has formally resigned as George’s caretaker.

As the ball ends, Charlotte informs her husband she is pregnant again. Their family is growing again, and they will eventually have fifteen children. They have each other, which is most important to them.

King George, fortunately, does not die in the series. Although there are two instances in the Story where we believe he has passed away.

In the first episode, Queen Charlotte and Brimsley rush to Buckingham House’s front doors to meet with a doctor.

When Queen Charlotte questions the doctor if the King is dead, he says no. So someone else dies in the end.

The second time we believed he died was in episode 5. Brimsley informs her that he thinks the King is still alive but is not certain.
