Phillip Noyce directed this American crime thriller movie that is adapted from the same named nonfiction book by Joe Sharkey about the murder of real-life American FBI informant Susan Smith.
The plot revolves around a young woman named Susan Smith who is struggling to escape her life in a Kentucky coal mining town embroiled in the world of crime and drugs.
But when she is recruited by an FBI agent with the task of working as an informant in a high-profile case, she starts to think that her fate might be changing.
Famed for portraying Daenerys Targaryen in ‘Game of Thrones‘, Emilia Clarke was cast as Susan Smith in the film. It was released in the United States on May 7, 2021. The film arrived on Netflix on 1st May this year.
American Graffiti (1973)-
George Lucas directed this coming-of-age comedy-drama movie. The plot is set in Modesto of California in the year 1962.
The film studies the early rock ‘n’ roll culture and cruising that were popular during that time among the people of Lucas’ age group.

A Man Called Otto (2022)-
Marc Forster directed this American comedy-drama movie that serves as the second movie adaptation of Fredrik Backman’s novel of 2012- ‘A Man Called Ove’ following the same-named Swedish movie of 2015. The plot revolves around the titular Otto Anderson who is a grumpy widower.
After a young lively family comes to live next door to him, he finds his match in Marisol, a quick-witted and pregnant woman which leads to an unusual friendship altering his world altogether.
Tom Hanks was cast as the protagonist and titular Otto in the movie. It was released in the United States on December 29, 2022. On 6th May this year, the film is arriving on Netflix.
Royalteen: Princess Margrethe (2023)-
Ingvild Søderlind has directed this upcoming Norwegian romance drama movie. The plot revolves around Princess Margrethe from the Norwegian royal family who has something to keep a secret from the last year’s prom to protect the honour of her family.
However, when she finds out that the Danish royal family is about to visit them, she becomes excited to meet Prince Alexander after all. Now she has to balance both the family drama and her own journey as a strong princess and a young lover.
Norwegian actress Elli Rhiannon Müller Osborne has been cast to portray the titular character in the film. It is scheduled to be released as a Netflix original movie on May 11, 2023.
The Mother (2023)-
Niki Caro directed this upcoming action drama movie. The plot surrounds a mother and her estranged daughter for her job of being an assassin.
But when danger befalls her daughter, she comes out of hiding in order to protect her while trying to escape from hostile assailants.
Jennifer Lopez is cast as the titular Mother in the movie. It is set to premiere on Netflix on May 12, 2023.
Faithfully Yours (2022)-
André van Duren directed this Dutch-language thriller film that revolves around two best friends named Isabel and Bodil.
Though both of them are apparently in a happy marriage, they get involved in secret affairs by using each other as an alibi. But things take a darker turn as Isabel gets killed at a time when they should have been together leaving Bodil entrapped in the series of lies that she created herself.
The film was released in the Netherlands on December 22, 2022. It is set to arrive on Netflix on 17th May this year.
Asterix & Obelix: The Middle Kingdom (2023)-
This French live-action adventure family comedy movie is adapted from the Franco-Belgian comic book ‘Asterix’. Guillaume Canet directed and also starred as Asterix in the movie with Gilles Lellouche as Obelix.
The film was released in France on February 1, 2023. It will arrive on Netflix on 19th May.
The Boss Baby (2017)-
This computer-animated comedy movie is loosely based on Marla Frazee’s same-named picture book of 2010. It serves as the first installment of The Boss Baby film franchise.
It was released in the United States on March 31, 2017, and is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on 22nd May this year.
Blood & Gold (2023)-
This German war drama is set during the end of WWII. It is set to be released on Netflix on May 26, 2023.
Tin & Tina (2023)-
This psychological thriller movie revolves around a couple adopting two peculiar twins whose obsession with religion soon begins to emerge as disturbing.
The film was released in Spain on March 31, 2023, and will arrive on Netflix on 26th May this year.
