Mexican road-trip comedy “Queens on The Run” is available on Netflix. The film, directed by Jorge Macaya, centers on the crazy road trip that four women in their 30s, Maril, Famela, Patty, and Estrella, planned in high school.
However, events take an unexpected turn when they encounter the authorities and become associated with the incorrect (illegal) crowd. Initially named “Fuga de Reinas,” this film uses weird humor and centers on a story about individuals who transform.

Queens on the Run Ending Explained
They discovered Lola when they got to El Jack. It revealed that Commander Lola was involved in the covert operation planned with the DEA to apprehend El Gavilan.
She had hired a bunch of dancers to assist her in diverting him, but they had all become ill. To assist Lola in obtaining El Gavilan and winning the $5 million grand prize, the girls intervened by taking the stage at the club to perform.
During their seductive performance, the women approached El Gavilan and pointed a revolver at him. He agreed to accompany them as they were bound and taken to his office.
Marilu felt irritated by the sight of Estrella, while Famela concentrated on finding the ashes. On the other hand, Estrella had been texting Officer Roberto Martnez the entire time.
Because of this, the police intervene to save them, and throughout the subsequent confrontation, the four friends support Lola in her fight.
However, Tuerto quickly arrives to save El Gavilan, taking Patty as his captive. Police officers swarm the structure as El Gavilan and his men take control of the situation.
Unbeknownst to Roberto, Estrella had been messaging him the entire time and had shared their whereabouts. As a battle breaks out, the ladies attempt to seize Famela’s mother’s ashes and defend themselves from the guys blocking them.
Famela shoots Tuerto just as he is about to throw out the ashes before diving for the urn. Maril, who has been waiting for a gun, shoots El Gavilan in the shoulder at the exact moment. El Gavilan is taken into custody by the police, and the women are hero-interviewed on television.

What caused Estrella to obstruct Antonio?
The women perform a show for the audience while dressed as strippers. Paty entertains the audience with her dancing as Female, Lola, and Maril corner El Gavilán as he arrives.
They remove him from the crowd while holding him at gunpoint. Estrella follows them. Estrella and Maril argue as Famela is searching for her mother’s ashes.
Maril ended her relationship with Antonio years ago but later regretted it. Since Estrella banned Antonio, she has yet to hear from him again.
Estrella only did it because Antonio was cheating on Maril with another lady and trying to kiss her. Because she believed Maril would not believe her, she never informed Maril about it.
Maril, though, accepts her, and the two of them come to an understanding.
