The release date for Oxenfree II: Lost Signals has been announced. During the Nintendo Indie World Showcase, Developer Night School Studio said that its long-delayed supernatural thriller sequel is now scheduled to release on July 12 on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Netflix.
OXENFREE II will take players on a riveting narrative-driven adventure with an entirely new cast of characters and a unique tale five years after the previous game’s events, which is still praised for its intriguing storytelling, sympathetic characters, and engaging graphical style.
Riley returns to her hometown of Camena five years after the events of OXENFREE to investigate unusual radio transmissions. What she discovers is far more than she bargained for.
Unnaturally occurring electromagnetic waves interfere with the little seaside hamlet’s electrical and radio infrastructure. Riley Poverly, an environmental researcher, reluctantly returns to her hometown to solve the mystery.
In OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, Riley Poverly, an environmental researcher, visits her hometown of Camena to look into radio frequency signals that aren’t supposed to be there and are disrupting modern devices.
She quickly learns that neighboring Edwards Island has a lengthy history of paranormal activity, and she finds herself caught up in a terrifying paranormal mystery.
OXENFREE II: Lost Signals, which features Night School’s unique, lifelike conversation system, sends players on a brand-new trip where they’ll unexpectedly determine their experience.
It’s almost like a poltergeist’s presence – TVs flip on and off, aircraft can’t fly, and radio stations are helpless against the static.
In Oxenfree, a group of teens on Edwards Island unintentionally established a vortex that allowed free travel across worlds and timelines.
However, members of the Parentage cult have been probing at the possibility of creating a new portal and dragging something nasty out.

Initially scheduled for release in 2021, the game was pushed back to 2022 before being pushed back again to a vague “2023” date. However, things are finally forming, with the PlayStation revealing a July 12, 2023, release date.

The Oxenfree II: Lost Signals teaser implies they’re passing through a deserted town, and the cult may be involved.
The game has a simple point-and-click mechanism in which you tap into ghostly frequencies using the characteristic ‘radio mechanic’ to converse with otherworldly beings and go back in time via breaches in natural space.
The teaser shows several strange incidents, including a glitchy monster, forced levitated characters, and a peculiar tilting home.
Aside from that, general navigation involves climbing and rappelling over Camena’s eerily gorgeous environment.
A new ‘walkie-talkie chat system’ allows you to connect with your contacts and residents to piece together the town’s mystery.
