Episode 5 of the show starts with Van, who currently lives alone in a small town and runs a VHS store. One day, Taissa surprises Van by walking into her shop unexpectedly, which completely takes her by surprise.
Suddenly, Taissa faints, and when she wakes up, she realizes she’s in Van’s apartment. It’s been a long time since the two women last saw each other, and Taissa asks if she can stay with Van for a while. Van permits her to stay at her house.
During a date with Detective Matt Saracusa, Callie, Jeff, and Callie’s daughter were unaware of his occupation as a police officer.
Sensing the inappropriateness of the situation, Saracusa distances himself from Callie’s advances. While Saracusa is away in the bathroom, Callie sees the bill and notices Saracusa’s real name on the card. To throw Saracusa off her trail, Callie falsely accuses her mother of infidelity with Randy.
Overcome with fear, Callie admits her wrongdoing to her parents, who devise a plan to make it appear as though Callie’s accusation is valid.
However, Saracusa and Kevyn Tan are able to see through their scheme. However, when Misty and Walter find the cult and approach, Nat, he declines to accompany them and assures Misty that Lottie is doing well.
