The upcoming biographical drama A Small Light miniseries revolves around the life of Miep Gies, an employee of Otto Frank. It tells the real-life and inspiring story of her contribution to hiding his family including Anne Frank during Nazi occupation in Amsterdam.

English actress Bel Powley will be seen portraying the role of Miep Gies in the series. Liev Schreiber has been cast as Otto Frank with Joe Cole as Jan Gies, Amira Casar as Edith Frank, Billie Boullet as Anne Frank, and Ashley Brooke as Margot Frank. The series is set to be released on May 1, 2023, on National Geographic.

It will be available on Disney+ and Hulu the following day.
