The much Netflix’s Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 2 is just around the corner now. Maggie Friedman created this series adapted from Kristin Hannah’s same-named novel.
The series is about two lifelong friends Tully and Kate who met thirty years ago as young girls on the titular Firefly Lane. After thirty years of a long journey, they are still inseparable and navigating the ups and downs of life together.
When Is Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 2 Releasing on Netflix?
The series was released on February 3, 2021, after its teaser arrived on October 14, 2020. On May 26, 2021, the series was renewed for a second season which was announced to be the final season on 3rd October of that year. The first part of the second season was released on December 2, 2022, with nine episodes.
The final part of Firefly Lane Season 2 Part 2 will premiere on the 27th of April this year. It will consist of seven episodes.

Katherine Heigl-
American actress Katherine Heigl will be reprising her role as one of the two protagonists of the series- Tully Hart, a popular daytime talk show host.
She has starred in a number of other television series too which includes ‘Roswell’, seasons one to six of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘State of Affairs’ (also executive producer), ‘Doubt’, seasons eight and nine of ‘Suits’ etc.
Sarah Chalke-
The other protagonist and Tully’s best friend Kate Mularkey is played by Canadian actress Sarah Chalke in the series who will reprise her role in the final season.
The most significant of her other television credits include ‘Roseanne’ (in seasons six to seven and nine as the main cast member and in seasons eight and ten as a recurring cast member), ‘Nothing Too Good for a Cowboy’, ‘Scrubs’ (as the main cast member from season one to eight and as a recurring cast member in season nine), ‘The ‘Bu’, ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ (in season three and four as a recurring cast member and in season nine as a guest star), ‘Maneater’, ‘Mad Love’, ‘How to Live with Your Parents (For the Rest of Your Life)’, ‘Rick and Morty‘ (voice role), ‘Backstrom’, ‘Milo Murphy’s Law’ (voice role), ‘Speechless’, season two of ‘Friends from College’, from season one to three of ‘Paradise PD‘, ‘Dogs in Space’ (voice role).
Ben Lawson-
Kate’s husband who is the producer of Tully’s talk show- Johnny Ryan is played by Australian actor Johnny Ryan in the series. Her previous television credits include the Australian television soap opera ‘Neighbours’ in which he played the character of Frazer Yeats for which he was nominated for Logie for Most Popular New Male Talent.
He was also cast in the tv series ‘The Deep End’, ‘Doubt’, season two of ‘Designated Survivor’, ’13 Reasons Why’ etc.
Beau Garrett-
Tully’s free-spirited and drug-addicted single mother Cloud is played by American actress Beau Garrett. Other than ‘Firefly Lane’ she was also cast as a main cast member in the series ‘Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior’, ‘Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce’, season one of ‘The Good Doctor’ and as a recurring cast member in the series ‘CSI: NY’ and ‘Longmire’.

Argentine actor Ignacio Serricchio has joined the cast of the series in Season 2 to play Danny Diaz. Previously he starred in the tv series ‘Ghost Whisperer’, ‘Privileged’, ‘The Young and the Restless’, ‘Bones’, ‘Witches of East End’, ‘Zoe Ever After’, ‘Girlfriends Guide to Divorce’, ‘Lost in Space’, ‘The Inmate’, ‘Good Girls‘, etc.

Kate’s mother Margie is portrayed by Canadian actress Chelah Horsdal. Kate’s father Bud is played by Scottish actor Paul McGillion. He previously starred in the series ‘Stargate: Atlantis’, ‘Sanctuary’ etc.
British actress and singer India de Beaufort, American actor Greg Germann, and Canadian-born actor Chris McNally are also recurring cast members who have joined the cast of the series playing respectively Charlie, Benedict Binswanger, and Mr. Waverly.
