Colin Hughes is seen stepping out of Michael’s home after spending the night with his partner. Ted meets Roy and Coach Beard at the practice field to talk about the team’s starting squad, with Zava now on board.

Due to this new development, the coaching team must now put Colin as the substitute and play Dani in midfield.

As the conversation continues, Leslie shows up and invites the men to Zava’s AFC Richmond debut. The other players are eager to get to know their new colleagues because most men look up to Zava. Jamie is the lone exception, appearing dissatisfied with the star’s presence.

Zava does not show up during the news meeting despite Rebecca and the others waiting for him for hours. The celebrity eventually appears in Rebecca’s workplace, where she introduces him to Leslie, Keeley, and Ted.

He then introduces himself to the group and leaves a lasting impression using his egocentricity and Zen teachings. During this time, Rebecca encounters Tish, a clairvoyant her mother had recommended.

The proprietor of the AFC Richmond initially plays along, but when Tish says she’ll have kids, she becomes upset.

As the team prepares to conduct interviews about Richmond’s new hero, Keeley, and Shandy, work with them, which causes Keeley and Roy to have an uncomfortable conversation.

Jamie discusses Zava’s ability to upset the team’s equilibrium with Ted and Coach Beard. Ted begs him to allow Zava time to adjust because he values him.

As Wolverhampton Wanderers are about to visit AFC Richmond, they prepare for their first match with Zava. The group decides to follow a strategy that focuses primarily on Zava.

Ted calls his son Henry before the game to wish him luck in his football contest. But as luck would have it, when Ted answers the phone meant for Henry, he learns that Jacob, his erstwhile marital counselor, is seeing his ex-wife, Michelle. Before the contest, this new information forces Ted out of his comfort zone.

Ted experiences a fear episode before the game begins, which gets better after Zava scores. AFC Richmond will now enjoy a run of victories, including their first triumph over Manchester United.

Soon enough, the squad goes on a run of five victories in their next six contests. While Jamie isn’t too pleased with Zava being the center of attention for the squad, Colin takes Michael to the celebration. Trent Crimm witnesses Colin and Michael sharing an embrace in the alleyway as the show ends.
