Henri Chang and Jung-chi Chang are the directors of the series. Hank Tseng is the show’s producer, and Green Grass Productions is the company that is in charge of the production. This drama is the first Taiwanese production to air on Netflix in 2023.
The story revolves around a highly experienced homicide prosecutor who is assigned to work on his very first case involving a serial killer.

What To Expect From Copycat Killer Season 2?
At the end of Season 1, the serial killer named Noh, also known as the TBS news reporter He-Ping, is framed for his atrocities, his confession is heard, and he is arrested for his actions.
In order to obtain the confession from He-Ping, the prosecutor Kuo had to exert a great deal of effort. He had to convince the serial murderer that he was not who he claimed to be in order to obtain the confession.
In order to accomplish this, Kuo asked for an invitation to He-Ping’s show which he would then loudly interrupt with a phone call and act out a discussion with the real “Noh.”
This drove He-Ping over the edge, and his need for recognition for his contributions drove him to take credit for Noh’s actions.
He-Ping is taken into custody after the confession is heard in front of witnesses. Also, He-Ping is given a life sentence without the possibility of remission, but the real conqueror is the serial killer.
He-Ping is stabbed as he exits the courtroom by a masked assailant before being brought into custody. The courthouse is surrounded by angry protestors.
He-Ping once more took control of the narrative of the story because he wanted to leave on his own terms and had planned his own execution if he was actually convicted.
When some time passed, everyone started to move on with their lives, leaving the ghost of Noh and He-Ping behind. This is ironic because He-Ping wanted to leave the world with a traumatic scar.
Ironically, there were no copycat murders that occurred throughout the course of the television show titled “Copycat Killer.” Because of this, the second season may center on a completely new serial killer who, after being motivated by the deeds of He-Ping, assumes the identity of Noh and picks up where the deceased serial killer left off.
It was He-Ping’s inflated sense of self-importance that led to his abduction in the first place, and the very thought of someone else receiving credit for the work he had done would have infuriated him.
Nevertheless, if he had chosen a protege, another person, to continue his work as Noh in the event of his passing, then his story would have continued.
