Reportedly, Netflix has signed the Oscar and Emmy Award winner Nicole Kidman to star in its upcoming series, “The Perfect Couple.”

The series will be of the murder-mystery genre and set in Massachusetts. “The Perfect Couple” will be based on Nantucket resident Elin Hilderbrand’s 2018 novel of the same name.

Netflix Signed Nicole Kidman for Its Upcoming Series The Perfect Couple.

Netflix will be working with Nicole Kidman for its upcoming series, “The Perfect Couple.” The series will be based on Nantucket resident Elin Hilderbrand’s 2018 novel of the same name.

The series is going to be set in Nantucket like most of Elin Hildebrand’s novels. If you are pretty eager to know more about the storyline then here it is –

The plot starts with a wedding. It is July and Celeste Otis is all set to marry Bryce Greer. Bryce is part of the wealthiest family on the island that they live in.

All went well until everyone found a dead body on the very morning of the wedding. It is of the maid of honor of the wedding. Pretty soon the word gets out.

And now, everyone involved with either Celeste Otis or Bryce Greer and who was present for the wedding is under suspicion.

Reportedly, Nicole Kidman is pretty soon going to start filming for the series on Cape Cod island. The series is expected to wrap up the shooting in late June, as informed by a member of the production team.

Even though “The Perfect Couple” is just a week away from filming, the casting is still a little foggy.

According to the famous entertainment daily Deadline, Liev Schreiber (Ray Donovan), Meghann Fahy (The White Lotus), Dakota Fanning (War of the Worlds), Eve Hewson (Robin Hood), and Jack Reynor (Sing Street) are still negotiating to be a part of the six-episode series.
