Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 2 Releasing Soon on Showtime.

Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 2 is all set to be released in the next few days and here are the details you need to know.

Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson created the popular and Emmy-nominated American thriller drama series ‘Yellowjackets’.

The plot began with the attempt of the surviving members of a New Jersey high school girls’ soccer team to stay alive in the wilderness fighting the harsh and extremely hostile surroundings as their plane crashed there while flying over Canada when they were traveling to Seattle in 1996 for a national tournament.

The story of ‘Yellowjackets’ is largely influenced by the true incidents of cannibalism in the case of the Donner Party and Andes flight disaster. Warner Bros. Pictures first announced an all-female adaptation of ‘Lord of the Flies’ by William Golding in August of 2017.

Showtime acquired the rights to the series on May 9, 2017. The first season was released on November 14, 2021.

After the release of the first five episodes, it was renewed for a second season which premiered on 26th March 2023.

Last year on 15th December which is three months before the release of Season 2, the series was renewed by Showtime for a third season. It was nominated for seven Primetime Emmy nominations.

Yellowjackets Season 2 Episode 2 will be released on 31st March 2023.
