Ariyoshi Assists is a new show of the Japanese reality comical series, which is now available on Netflix. The show’s idea is that 10 guest hosts from various fields of the entertainment industry, such as actors, singers, and professional athletes, attend and lead their own episodes.
Nippon TV, a Japanese network, signed a partnership with the internet platform previously this year to create the 10-part improv series. This is the show’s first partnership with a worldwide streaming platform.
The show’s founders are Kazuaki Hashimoto and Toshiyuki Yokozawa, who earlier created shows like Ariyoshi no Kabe and Ariyoshi Zemi.

Hiroiki Ariyoshi appears alongside well-known stars such as GENERATIONS, IKKO, Summers, Tenshin Nasukawa, and others in this game show in which the stars serve as guest hosts with Ariyoshi aiding them.
Ariyoshi Assists is a typical Japanese game show with quirky competitors and buckets of fun in stuff that Japanese people would love more. The new visitors aren’t adequately presented to viewers, so there isn’t enough concern for international audiences, but it’s still interesting to watch.
The competitors in these activities are entertainers and popular personalities who are forced to participate in the absurd activities seen on Japanese variety tv.
Every episode is carefully tailored to spotlight the guest host’s abilities as the audience is exposed to absurd scenarios with equally ridiculous outcomes.
The production in this show is quirky and over the top, as is typical of Japanese game shows. The performers are pushed through their limits in games that are at times scary but ultimately entertaining.
The show is a visual burst of color and grandeur. The set is extravagant, the clothes are comical, and the subtitles on the screen are vivid and eye-catching.
The series performs a poor job of presenting the guest host to international audiences. There is no opening video or bio at the outset, and the programs begin with a vague statement of the guest’s specialty.
There is additionally little adherence to the series’ theme since the guests are inconsistent as “hosts,” and Ariyoshi is largely a professional presence. The episodes have practically no structure since they are permitted to proceed in a haphazard manner.
Season 1 of Ariyoshi Assists came to an end by announcing GENERATIONS as the winner of the show.
