Is Oshi no Ko Coming in April 2023?

After waiting for a pretty long time there’s another rom-com anime in town just like Kaguya-Sama Love is War, the creator has revealed some wonderful news for all rom-com fans. Oshi no ko, a Japanese manga series written by Aka Akasaka and drawn by Mengo Yokoyari, has finally been adapted into an anime television show.

The creator of the show  Doga Kobo is also famous for creating  Plastic Memories, 11 Eyes, My Senpai is Annoying, and other similar series.

This anime may fill the void left by Aka Akasaka’s renowned, Kaguya Sama: Love is War, and may become one of the year’s greatest rom-com.

What is the Release date for Oshi No Ko?

Kadokawa made the announcement on March 16, 2023, that Akasaka and Yokoyari’s Oshi no Ko anime will release on the Tokyo MX channel on April 12, 2023, at 11:00 PM.

On the other hand, on March 23, 2023, certain Japanese cinemas will hold a 2-hour special early screening of Oshi no Ko Season 1 Episode 1.

The producers and production company have not announced the episode number for Oshi no Ko Season 1 as yet.

What is the Plot for Oshi No Ko?

The narrative of Aquamarine and Ruby Hoshino, the children of famed idol Ai Hoshino, and their attempts at making it as stars in the difficult and occasionally nasty world of show biz is told in Oshi no Ko.

In their previous life, the twins were physicians and patients who were reincarnated as the children of their idol. They discover the industry’s sinister and hazardous edges as they continue in their mother’s footsteps.

Is there a Trailer for Oshi No Ko?

Oshi no Ko recounts Ai Hoshino’s journey as a well-known idol who is adored by a large number of followers. When he pays a visit to Gorou, a rural gynecologist, he gladly provides assistance to her.

Unfortunately, an unfathomable accident causes him to be re-incarnated as his favorite idol.

This is the start of Gorou’s adventure as he learns about the brutal reality of the entertainment business. Hopefully, this series will be released soon as well.
