Can Ant-Man Lead the Avengers?

Can Ant-Man lead the Avengers? Well, Ant-Man, is introduced as a former criminal and uses a superhero identity and power that is easy to joke about before you consider the possibility of what Pym Particles are genuinely capable of, is not someone who is nearly as easy to see rushing into battle alongside the Avengers as the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, or Thor, and yet that is precisely what has happened.

Might things progress further, given that it’s unexpected that a man like Scott would join the Avengers? Could he ever really take the team’s leadership? Is that going too far, though? In this article, we’ll explore how this works.

Peyton Reed, the director of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Stephen Broussard, the producer, talked about the outcomes and Scott’s so far. A public poll asking if Ant-Man could ever be the leader of the Avengers included three options: “Yes,” “No,” and “Co-Leading with Someone Else.”

We were astonished to discover that Co-Leading received the most votes. He can, in our opinion as well. His time as Ant-Man has taught him a lot, and Quantumania will definitely make him more competent than ever.

Peyton Reed, who has helmed all three Ant-Man movies, asserted that from his point of view, he would say “Yes” in regards to whether or not he can serve as leader of the Avengers because, in his opinion, he has improved from the person who was essentially operating in the margins in the first film.

On the surface, he appeared to be an Avengers fan. And he’s currently in the spotlight in Quantumania. The first Avengers to face Kang are he and the Wasp.

Producer Stephen Broussard concurred with Reed that Ant-Man might serve as the leader of the Avengers and noted that the Quantumania team found Scott’s atypical career trajectory to be intriguing.

Scott Lang, a former inmate and electronics specialist employed by Stark International, steals the Ant-Man suit from Hank Pym, who had long ago abandoned the identity in order to save Pym’s ill daughter.

When Pym learns about it, he offers Lang the suit so that he might take on the role of the second Ant-Man. He served as an Avenger for years as Ant-Man before being murdered in the Avengers Disassembled plot.

In the miniseries Avengers: The Children’s Crusade, he is brought back to life years later. After being revived, Lang established his own business, Ant-Man Security Solutions, and is the director of the Future Foundation.

Shortly after, Scott Lang frequently wore the Ant-Man outfit to support Iron Man and the Avengers. When a system overload left Iron Man stuck inside his armor, Scott came to his aid.

In addition, he assisted Yellowjacket in his attempt to free the Wasp that Dr. Parnell Solomon had imprisoned. He also fought Taskmaster at first with the Avengers.

After that, he faced off against Odd John’s mutant insects and ran across Biotron of the Micronauts. He fought Taskmaster once more alongside Spider-Man, taking advantage of Taskmaster’s misconception that he was Pym by utilizing one of his ants as a surprise weapon when he used one of his growth capsules on it.

At a conference for electronics experts in Dallas, he made an effort to halt the Raiders. He then confronted Stark International’s malfunctioning GARD computer security system. He helped Iron Man and Jim Rhodes fight Mauler.

He later encountered the Fantastic Four and, acting on their behalf, traveled to a “micro-world” where he fought alongside the Thing against its inhabitants. During the “Armor Wars” plot, Scott was crucial in assisting Iron Man in figuring out who had copies of his technology.

The Fantastic Four briefly employed Lang to assist them with their technical needs when Reed Richards went missing and was assumed dead. During this time, Lang discovered that Cassie was aware of his secret superhero identity for a considerable amount of time.

Later, when the other three were momentarily imprisoned in the Negative Zone, Lang returned, and the Human Torch, She-Hulk, and Namorita formed a temporary Fantastic Four.

Using a treatment developed by Leader, Lang shrank down to microscopic size, entered the Hulk’s genes, and replaced the damaged genes causing the disease with healthy genes taken from the corpse of Bruce Banner’s father.

The energy surge released when the Hulk returned to human form integrated the new genes into Hulk’s system and cured the disease.

Lang played a significant role in helping Mister Fantastic cure the Hulk, who was suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease. Once Peggy Rae, his ex-wife, was granted custody of their daughter, Lang agreed to formally join the Avengers.
