The teaser shows Serap, a contemporary and accomplished theatre performer, reading the script for her upcoming shampoo commercial shoot.
Her character, Mrs. Handan, is described in the screenplay as having a son and a daughter and being a superb homemaker since she prepares dolmas in the evening in addition to working full-time in a bank.
Serap finds the term offensive because she despises the conventional roles given to women, which include caring for children, cooking, and cleaning. Instead of the stereotyped role, she leads a free-spirited existence. However, she consents to participate in a recently introduced Belinda shampoo commercial.
Despite some concerns, the filming goes smoothly for the most part, but the director doesn’t like her acting when the scene when the shampoo is used appears.
