Is Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Coming in March 2023?

The eleventh Star Trek series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is all ready to be released on DVD and other Home media in the United States. It is part of the expanded Star Trek Universe of Alex Kurtzman and serves as a spin-off of the seventh tv series ‘Star Trek: Discovery‘.

The plot of Strange New Worlds is set a decade before the events of ‘Star Trek: The Original Series’. It revolves around the starship USS Enterprise as its Captain Christopher Pike and other crew keep on exploring new worlds throughout the galaxy.

The first season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds released on Paramount+ on May 5, 2022. It ran until 7th July for ten episodes. It is scheduled to be released on DVD, Limited Edition Steelbook formats, and Blu-Ray in the United States on March 21, 2023.

But this Home media release will also include an extra ninety minutes full of bonus features, deleted scenes, audio commentary, and a gag reel.

The first season has won a Primetime Emmy nomination with several other awards. A second season is also under development and will presumably be released in 2023.
