In a recent interview, the co-creator, executive producer, and star of the show, Jason Sudeikis shared his thoughts regarding the end of the comic series. He implied the fact that the makers might have made season 3 with the thought of ending the show once and for all.

The fans of the Emmy-winning comic series, Ted Lasso are curious about the fact that the upcoming season 3 will be the end of it. And looks like the star of the show, Jason Sudeikis might have the answer to it.
Although the series went into production with a plan to drop just 3 seasons of it, the makers haven’t officially said that Ted Lasso will end with season 3.
On March 7, Jason Sudeikis shared with Deadline, “This is the end of this story that we wanted to tell.” He further suggested that once the fans finish watching the upcoming season, they might not want the story to continue after that.
Sudeki also gave a hint that the story has the potential for spin-offs and they are looking forward to it. He said, “We’ve set the table for all sorts of folks to get to watch the further telling of these stories.”
