Is Outer Banks Season 3 That Bad?

The teen drama series Outer Banks is here with its season 3. The newly arrived season very soon expresses that it is very far away from reality. After the team finds out a way to solve everything, the narrative seems to bounce from one place to another.

And that’s how the narrative totally exploits the plot of the series which eventually leads to its failure. The narrative feels like none of it matters. Yes, we are not kidding. After one point, it all seems useless. Like there’s no point in it.

This is very much seen in an early moment where the protagonist first decides to follow an escaping thief but after a moment, chooses to call it off. Like, why? Even the protagonist feels like he’s doing all of this again and again.

It creates a moment of revealing yet unintentional humor where the characters themselves just seem like they can barely be bothered to go through the motions.

All these motions and plots come to a point where the audience is left with no choice but to compare the season to the disastrous second season of The Wild. And this takes away all the interest from the series.

After a lot of plot that misses gaining attention, Outer Banks then moves back and forth to remind us of past memories. And all of that has faded with time because of how minimal it was.

We all know it is like a rule to finish a series once you start and maybe that’s why the makers are announcing season after season for Outer Banks. But they can’t run from the fact that the series has met its saturation point.
