Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series Part 2 Ending Explained

Published by

Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series Part 2. As the series title suggests, this is Ash and Pikachu’s final voyage, and they are the two central protagonists.

Both characters have significantly contributed to the Pokémon franchise over a lengthy period. It is strange to believe that the series can go on without them on the board, yet the Pokémon Corporation has made that choice.

As this season concludes, a new series with a completely new cast of

protagonists will debut.

Ash has developed into such a skilled character that the allure of the beginning adventure and facing the most formidable trainers as a novice has been gone. Ash has nothing to prove to anyone because he is already a champion.

His adventure is concluding, so this last competition serves more as a victory lap than anything else. Although it may be challenging to say goodbye to such endearing characters, for those who share the trip with them, they will always represent the core of the Pokémon universe.

Ending Explanation Of Pokemon Ultimate Journeys: The Series Part 2

Let’s take a look at understanding the ending of part 2.

This second installment of Pokémon Journeys’ last episode is exclusively devoted to a conflict between masters.

Cynthia, the Sinnoh region’s Pokémon champion, is taking part. Cynthia battles with water-type Pokémon.

While some of her Pokémon are of different sorts, such as the Dragon type, most are water-based. These masters almost always go for dragon types because of how effective they have been in combat.

Iris, on the other hand, is the region’s current Pokémon champion in Unova. Iris has an extensive understanding of Cynthia’s methods and plans because she formerly served as her trainee.

This fight has the potential to be legendary because Iris also utilizes Dragon-type Pokémon. That is in a certain sense. When Cynthian and Iris start their battle, it’s clear from their first Pokémon that they’re not messing around. The real deal is this.

Iris goes with Excadrill, while Cynthia picks Gastrodon. Excadrill appears disadvantaged in this matchup when Gastrodon performs a rain dance to create rain. Excadrill’s DNA contains the Ground-type gene.

When it looks impossible, Excadrill pulls off a surprise and vanquishes Gastrodon. The following Pokémon Cynthia summons won’t be as simple to beat, though. She decides on Milotic, and the Pokémon soon overpower the already worn-out Excadrill.

With their first Pokémon, Cynthian, and Iris make it clear from the start of the encounter that they are not messing around. It’s the real stuff, folks.

Excadrill defeats Gastrodon despite it being impossible to do so, pulling off an unexpected victory. But Cynthia’s next Pokémon won’t be as simple to beat. Milotic is the Pokémon she picks, and it swiftly dispatches the worn-out Excadrill.
