The upcoming miniseries ‘Fatal Attraction’ is based on Adrian Lyne’s same-named 1987 movie. The new series is a re-imagination of the old movie as it navigates modern attitudes toward strong women, coercive control, and personality disorders while exploring the themes of infidelity and marriage.

The plot surrounds an affair between a woman named Alex and a married man Dan Gallagher. But when Alex decides not to put an end to the affair, it turns volatile to the extent of threatening the lives of Dan and his wife Beth.

When Is Fatal Attraction Releasing?

The series was first announced as a reboot of the original film in February of 2021. The series got the official order in November of that year with Lizzy Caplan set being cast as Alex who in the movie was portrayed by Glenn Close.

The character of Dan that was played by Michael Douglas in the movie, was announced to be portrayed by Joshua Jackson in the series in January of 222. Filming started in the summer of 2022.

Paramount released a teaser trailer of the series on YouTube on 1st March this year. ‘Fatal Attraction’ is set to be released on Paramount+ on April 30, 2023.
