Ed Sheeran reveals his wife had a tumor during her second pregnancy. There is a lot of time in the life of celebrities that feels like drowning and dying. It is maybe because of some personal reason or maybe because of some professional ups and downs in life.

The same recently happened with the singer Ed Sheeran. The singer has confirmed the release date of his upcoming album and also talked about his wife having a tumor during her second pregnancy.

While announcing the release date of his upcoming album, which is 5 May 2023, on Instagram, he also talked about some of the difficulties he dealt with.

All the struggle started in 2022 which inspired him to write the music and go with the record. Coming with the explanation then Ed Sheeran shared three life-changing moments in his life that came in 2022.

The first one was related to his wife Cherry who was diagnosed with a tumor and then it was followed by the death of his best friend named Jamal. The last one was the copyright lawsuit for his song called Shape Of You which was bad.

He said how his wife got pregnant and told him about a tumor with no treatment till the birth of a baby. Ed Sheeran wrote: “My best friend Jamal, a brother to me, died suddenly, and I found myself standing in court defending my integrity and career as a songwriter.

I was spiraling through fear, depression, and anxiety. I felt like I was drowning, head below the surface, looking up but not being able to break through for air.”

Cherry and Ed Sheeran had their second baby in May 2022. They have decided to name this baby Jupiter. Coming with further information related to the health of his wife then it is not clear whether she is receiving treatment or has received any treatment after the birth of the second baby.

Talking about the lawsuit of Shape Of You the singer won the copyright claim and was awarded 1.1 million. He will be releasing his fifth Studio album soon which is making fans excited. He is working on this record and album for almost 10 years with a clear vision.

But this vision got a little blurred with the moments that happened in 2022. And that’s the reason why he chooses to go with therapy for writing the song. According to the singer:

“It helps me make sense of my feelings. I wrote without thought of what the songs should be. I just wrote whatever tumbled out. And in just over a week I replaced a decade’s worth of work with my deepest, darkest thoughts.”
