This Sunday, Jennifer Coolidge received the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in Drama Series. And this happened because of her amazing portrayal of Tanya in the hit HBO series.

The actress literally broke down as she went on to thank her parents for always supporting her from the very start. She also showed her gratitude while mentioning that her parents allowed her to take a leave from school so that she can visit the Charlie Chaplin Film Festival.

It won’t be a wrong thing to say that all her parent’s efforts and decisions has paid off as Jennifer Coolidge is now officially the owner of a SAG award.

The Legally Blond star also said that her father was the one who always accepted her interest in films. She said that he even faked illness once so that Jennifer can take a leave from school and visit all the film festivals that she wanted to. Like seriously, what can be better than this?

In the acceptance speech, Jennifer said the following words, “I had these amazing parents. And they had this incredible gift. It was impossible for them to lie.”
