The primary concern for fans who have not played The Last of Us will be if Joel dies after falling from his stab wound after episode 6. Joel does not, however, pass away after The Last of Us, episode 6.

Ellie, played by Bella Ramsey, is left on her own in The Last of Us episode 7 since Joe has abandoned her; although severely injured, she does not pass away but instead falls from blood loss.

The cannibal storyline, in which Ellie runs across David after attempting to get medicine to treat Joel’s wounds, will probably be adapted for the upcoming episode.

Joel explains to Tommy that Tommy’s aging has been catching up with him. He lacks the stamina that made him a fearsome warrior for over two decades after the apocalypse; he is partially deaf, his body doesn’t react as quickly as it once did, and he is also partially deaf.

While it’s common to become older and notice that your body is less flexible, Joel’s physical restriction further fuels his anxiety. Joel makes excuses for taking Ellie to the Fireflies to honor Tess’ (Anna Torv) final request.

The fact is that he does care about the girl. Joel then convinces himself that he will be to blame for Ellie’s passing as he feels that time is taking his abilities.

Ellie will ultimately perish since he won’t be able to save her in time. Joel doesn’t worry about dying, but the idea of losing another daughter paralyzes him. Ellie has become to him a daughter, and she is just as frail as Sarah (Nico Parker) was when she passed away.

Joel is forced to acknowledge in Episode 6 that Ellie is not Sarah. That seems like one of those circumstances that will undoubtedly never change., especially given the significant role Joel plays in the trip and how closely the show is following some aspects of the game.

It is, therefore, safe to assume that Joel will survive this. But after all, this is a zombie apocalypse. Everything is possible.
