Selena Gomez has regained her crown once again, she is now the official global queen. On Thursday, Selena officially surpassed Kylie Jenner to become the most-followed woman on Instagram with a whooping 381 million followers and counting; while Kylie now has 380 million followers on the popular social media platform.

For the record, Selena was already the number one followed woman on IG earlier but Kylie overtook the crown from her several years back, but now finally the queen is back on her throne.

Selena is not only popular but she is also one of the most loved women in the world, she has one of the most loyal fan bases and she is an absolute darling for her fans.

The thirty years old American singer, actress, and producer first made her television appearance in the year 2002 with the children’s television series Barney and Friends.

She started gaining attention and popularity when she hit her teens and was featured in the Disney channel’s fantasy teen sitcom show Wizards of Waverly Palace, her lead character Alex Russo was loved by viewers around the world.
