According to People magazine, the manager of Raquel Welch, Steve Sauer, gave a confirmed statement to the daily regarding his client’s death. In his own words, Raquel Welch “passed away peacefully early this morning after a brief illness.”

Steve Saucer added the following words while informing the world regards Welch’s death, “Her career spanned over 50 years starring in over 30 films and 50 television series and appearances.

The Golden Globe winner, in more recent years, was involved in a very successful line of wigs. Raquel leaves behind her two children, son Damon Welch and her daughter Tahnee Welch.”

Both of her children were always by her side. At almost every award function and every public appearance, Welch’s son and daughter were seen walking and sitting beside their mother.

Raquel Welch made her film debut all the way back in 1960. But her fame came in 1966. Welch played roles in Fantastic Voyage and One Million Years B.C. which was very much liked by the audience of the entertainment business.

After that name and fame, there was no stopping for Raquel Welch. She went on to play popular roles in many films. In 1973, Raquel acted in The Three Musketeers. She won a Golden Globe Award for best actress in a motion picture comedy or musical.

Her other films include 100 Rifles, The Prince and the Pauper, Chairman of the Board, and Legally Blonde. Raquel played her last role in a 2017 film, How To Be A Lover.
