Let’s take an overview of the upcoming manga series.

Pluto turns Tezuka’s Astro Boy’s “The Greatest Robot on Earth” arc into a gripping murder investigation in which Gesicht, a German robot inspector for Europol, serves as the principal detective.

The show examines the anti-war and pro-peace themes, showing the suffering on both sides and emphasizing that there is no other way out but through peace.

Pluto is an eight-episodes volume series that first appeared in Big Comic Original from September 2003 to April 2009. The series has over 8.5 million copies sold and has won praise from critics for its compelling plot and ideas.

In addition, according to Anime News Network, Pluto’s inventor, Naoki Urasawa, expressed delight at the upcoming adaptation and commended those who took on the challenge of creating an anime based on Pluto.

Pluto will be under the supervision of Macoto Tezuka, the late Astro Boy manga creator Osamu Tezuka’s son, eagerly anticipating the results of the new wave of animation. In 2023, Pluto is scheduled to make its Netflix debut.

Sneak peek at the “PLUTO” manga teaser.

Urasawa has reimagined the popular Astro Boy series by Osamu Tezuka as the Pluto manga. More precisely, it reinvents the narrative arc of The Greatest Robot on Earth.

However, instead of Tezuka’s original action-adventure combat shonen style, Urasawa reimagines the arc as a murder-mystery thriller.

The Pluto anime adaptation’s first teaser, which once again modernizes the appearance and feel of the original manga series, has just been made available on Netflix.

The four-minute trailer has fast-paced action, a frigid but stunningly beautiful tech-focused future, and a darkly adult-focused design. It is based on the manga series written and drawn by Takashi Nagasaki and Naoki Urasawa.

Also, it sets a violent battle and other action-packed series sequences to music without any spoken words.

In a world where people and machines are almost indistinguishable, he is one of the seven targets, starting a game of cat and mouse between Gesicht and someone or something.

Due to its fundamental identity as an Astro Boy retelling, the manga series is adored by fans of all ages, spanning the generational divide. The rumored anime adaptation is anticipated to follow suit.
