Scott Z. Burns has created the upcoming American anthology series ‘Extrapolations’ for Apple TV+. Ellen Kuras will serve as director with Scott Z. Burns for the series.
The series consists of eight stories that are interwoven with each other which navigate the disastrous effect of climate change that is devouring the world each day.
It deals with the everyday lives of people as they add different points of view to the problem of climate change while presenting life changing choices that are necessary in such a time when the planet is altering faster than ever.

When Is Extrapolations Releasing?
Reports of an anthology series dealing with the theme of climate change came long back in January of 2020.
It was announced to be under development by Scott Z. Burns and was decided to be greenlit for ten episode season in December. In October of 2021 filming began with Burns as writer and director and most of the cast members.
It was also announced that the series will now consist of only eight episodes. In November that year some other actors and actresses joined the cast. Ellen Kuras was decided to be a director for the series in February of 2022.
Apple TV+ released the official trailer of the series on YouTube on February 15.

Meryl Streep-
Academy award winner American actress Meryl Streep is one of the cast members of the upcoming series whose character name is yet not disclosed.

She will also be seen in the upcoming third season of American mystery comedy drama series ‘Only Murders in the Building‘.
Sienna Miller-
Starring as Rebecca Shearer we will see American born English actress Sienna Miller in the upcoming series.
Her other television credits include ‘Keen Eddie’, ‘The Loudest Voice’, ‘Anatomy of a Scandal‘ and ‘Chivalry’. She was nominated for the BAFTA TV Award for Best Actress for starring in the television film ‘The Girl’ in 2012.
Kit Harington-
English actor Kit Harington is a widely familiar face for his portrayal of Jon Snow in HBO‘s celebrated epic fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones‘. In the upcoming series we will see him starring as Nicholas Bilton.
Tahar Rahim-
French actor Tahar Rahim has been cast in the anthology series as Ezra Haddad. He previously starred in the movies ‘A Prophet’, ‘The Mauritanian’, in the miniseries ‘The Serpent‘ etc.
Matthew Rhys-
Welsh actor Matthew Rhys who is known for roles such as Perry Mason in the titular series and Philip Jennings in ‘The Americans’, the latter granting him a Primetime Emmy Award, is cast in the upcoming series as a character named Junior.
Daveed Diggs-
As Marshall Zucker we will see Grammy Award winner American rapper, singer songwriter and actor Daveed Diggs in the anthology series.
Gemma Chan-
English actress Gemma Chan will be seen starring in the series as Natasha Alper. Her other television credits include ‘Secret Diary of a Call Girl‘, ‘Fresh Meat’, ‘Bedlam’, ‘Humans’, ‘Brotherhood’, ‘Hotel Transylvania: The Series‘ etc.
David Schwimmer-
Like Harington, American actor director David Schwimmer is also known for a role that is widely regarded- Ross Geller in ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S.’ He will star as Harris Goldblatt in the series.

Indian actor Adarsh Gourav who gained international acclamation including a BAFTA nomination from the American film ‘The White Tiger‘ will be starring as Gaurav in the series.
