It is slated to depict the narrative of a discredited investigative journalist, who is behind a cold case of missing and murdered women in small-town Alaska, and an ongoing danger of violence.

While the story is technically fictitious, attempts were made to include real-life stories and connect the series directly to the society it portrays.

What is the release date for Alaska Daily Part 2?

ABC‘s Hilary Swank series, Alaska Daily which was set to release Part 2, which is going to be its final episodes of Season 1 episodes on Feb. 23, 2022, will now release a week later on Thursday, March 2, 2023. The season finale has been rescheduled and postponed to Thursday, March 30.

What is going to be the Plot for Alaska Daily Part 2?

The series portrays star actress Hilary Swank as Eileen Fitzgerald, a New York investigative journalist who has lately not been doing so well. She relocated to Anchorage, Alaska, after leaving New York for a “new start.”

She takes up a job at a tiny daily metro paper whilst living there. Unbelievably, a large number of women have mysteriously vanished and been murdered with no explanation.

The trailer shows Fitzgerald, seen with a series of stolen posters on her wall, drawing the conclusion that they are, for the most part, indigenous women. As quickly as this is displayed, there is a rapid transition to a voiceover that says, “No one is likely to do anything about it, not the cops, nor the courts.”

Is there a trailer for Alaska Daily Part 2?

The teaser depicts Eileen actively investigating with community citizens ranging from employees at the newspaper to law enforcement to indigenous Anchorage people.

Her attempts in the inquiry are aimed at both repairing her damaged career and giving answers to the disturbing instances that are piling up.
