The actor famous for his role in Magic Mike’s First Dance, Channing Tatum has recalled a very embarrassing moment in his personal life. It’s a moment where he panicked like a kid after meeting Matt Damon for the very first time.

In a recent interview with People magazine, Channing shared a personal moment from his life. Noting down the exact words that came out of his mouth, Channing mentioned that he “almost didn’t recover” after his very first encounter with Matt Damon.

Channing Tatum’s Embarrassing Moment With Matt Damon

In a recent interview with People magazine, Channing shared a personal moment from his life when he met Matt Damon for the first time. He mentioned that his very first encounter with Matt was during the shooting of Steven Soderbergh’s 2011 film, Haywire.

Channing further mentions that he was sitting at an Albuquerque hotel bar with Steven Soderbergh after filming for the whole day. And while they were having a drink together, the Good Will Hunting actor Matt Damon walks in on them.

Matt arrived at the bar to hang out with Steven Soderbergh. And that’s when Channing Tatum had a disappointing encounter with Matt, according to him.

Channing said the following words while remembering the encounter, “I’m such a fan and still am. I sat down next to him, and I was like, ‘Hey, man. Where are you from?’ — and I was like ‘I just asked Matt Damon where he’s from.’”

While remembering the moment Channing Tatum shared with Matt Damon, he continued, “Everyone on the planet knows where Matt Damon is from, and he obviously knows that I know where Matt Damon is from, and I almost didn’t recover.

Tatum added, “I don’t think I said anything for the next maybe two hours or so, and I still think about it today. Every once in a while, I’ll just have a cold sweat and feel like, I can’t believe….”
