Is The Mandalorian Season 3 Coming In March 2023? Disney+

Season 3 of Jon Favreau-created American action-adventure space Western tv series ‘The Mandalorian’ is coming this March on Disney+.

It is the first live-action tv series of the Star Wars franchise. Its plot is set five years after the incidents of the 1983 movie ‘Return of the Jedi’ and the Galactic Empire’s fall.

The story kicked off with a lone bounty hunter Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian going on the run to protect Grogu, a Force-sensitive child. Though he was initially recruited by Imperial forces to retrieve the child, he changes the course of his action to reunite the infant with his kind.

The series progresses with a number of other characters appearing in their journey and various bends of action and adventure. The series has been acclaimed by both viewers and critics. It won seven Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Drama Series.

The Mandalorian Season 3 Release Date

The series premiered on November 12, 2019. The writing of the Mandalorian Season 3 came under development by late April 2020.

Filming of the 3rd Season kicked off on October 13, 2021, and it concluded on March 20, 2022. While the fourth season is currently under development, the third season is scheduled to be released with eight episodes on March 1, 2023.

The lead and titular character Mandalorian or Din Djarin is played by Chilean-born American actor Pedro Pascal in the series. Pascal will return in the upcoming season to portray the same. He also reprised this role in the spin-off of the series ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ in 2022.

But the role that granted him prominence for the first time is of Oberyn Martell in HBO’s epic fantasy series ‘Game of Thrones‘.

Pascal’s other important television credits include ‘The Good Wife’, ‘Graceland’, and ‘Narcos’. Most recently he has been cast as Joel Miller in the lead role in HBO’s post-apocalyptic series ‘The Last of Us’ co-starring with Bella Ramsey.

Pascal also starred in the 2017 spy action comedy movie ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ as Jack Daniels aka Agent Whiskey and in the 2020 DC superhero movie ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ as Maxwell Lord.
