Is Outer Banks Season 3 Releasing In February 2023?

Attention fans! The Outer Banks is finally going to be back for season 3. Season 2 finished on a painful yet happy note for the Pogues, with a huge disclosure about John B’s father that left us wanting more.

Just after the season 2 finale tension, more episodes are now on their way. Keeping that in mind, here is all that you need to know about Outer Banks season 3 on Netflix.

The Pogues are not unfamiliar with treasure hunting, however, in Outer Banks Season 3, the quest for the Royal Merchant money becomes a serious issue of life and death when they come into contact with a cruel Caribbean don.

Season 3 opens with the main cast and newcomer Cleo washing ashore on a secluded island named Poguelandia by JJ, but their lovely getaway is ended prematurely when they learn how many foes they’ve created in the previous months.

Broke and far from home, the group must take extraordinary measures to escape and return to the Outer Banks, but they have no idea what fresh dangers and life-altering discoveries await them.

But there’s not only bad news for the Pogues. In Outer Banks season 3, John B reunites with his dad, Big John, who he had assumed was dead for the last year.

Big John was discovered to be still alive at the end of Series 2, but notwithstanding his near-death encounter, he’s now more motivated than ever before to find the wealth.

Of course, the Outer Banks wouldn’t be complete without a little romantic tension. John B. and Sarah Cameron’s romance is put to the ultimate test for the very first time in Season 3, whilst J.J. and Kiara attempt to waltz around their affections and Pope lays his heart on the line once again.

Recap for Outer Banks Season 2?

Outer Banks Season 3
Netflix

Outer Banks Season 2 concluded with a scary a** encounter for the Pogues that risked them losing their lives. The majority of the second season of the Netflix series featured John B., Sarah, JJ, Kiara, and Pope as they attempted to locate and rescue the missing Cross of Santo Domingo.

In the season finale, the group discreetly boarded the Coastal Venture and attempted to cross the Atlantic. After a wild life-threatening situation, they were forced to escape and save themselves in a lifeboat.

Although the Pogues went empty-handed once more, the episode concluded on a happy note as they rejoiced at being all together and safe for the time being.
