Is Carnival Row Season 2 Releasing In February 2023?

Carnival Row Season 2 and the last season of the fantasy show will be released on Amazon Prime Video pretty soon. The new season will see conflicts between humanity as a result of strange killings, forcing everyone to make a choice and select sides.

Season 1 finished with the realization of Philo’s Fae identity, with show’s creators Travis Beacham and Marc Guggenheim originally hinting that there will be more on that subject.

It’s arguably one of the greatest seismic shocks to the series itself that happened at the conclusion of season 1, and it’s something we are anxiously looking forward to in season 2. And the difficulty for Philo is that it’s not as easy for him to accept his status.

He is not a fae, according to the fae. He is half-blooded. As a result, he is essentially a person without a nation. He’s not human enough for humanity, but he isn’t Fae enough for the Fae either. He sort of belongs somewhere that isn’t here, nor there.

The huge shock at the end of season one was that Orlando Bloom’s Philo, who accompanies Vignette in the Carnival Row ghetto, is half fairy.

And this is something we’ll be grappling with and sensationalizing a lot in season two. And the difficulty for Philo is that it’s not as easy as it is for him to accept his fairy status. He is not a fae, according to the fae. Nor is he purely a human. He’s stuck in between.

He has given up his badge too as a consequence of the choices he makes.
