What Is The Series About?
The Upshaws is a television series that centers on the titular African-American family and shows their everyday challenges as they navigate life’s ups and downs.
The Indiana-based series centers on family patriarch and machinist Bennie Upshaw as he and his wife Regina struggle to support their working-class family and raise their two daughters, Aaliyah and Maya, as well as their son, Bernard Upshaw Jr., and the eldest sibling, Kelvin Upshaw, who was born when Bennie and Regina were separated and fathered by another woman named Tasha Lewis.
