Inspired by Maureen Jennings’ novels, this highly acclaimed show, set in the late 1890s and early 1900s, dives into the life of William Murdoch, a detective in Toronto, Ontario, who uses unique forensic techniques to solve various crimes.

Murdoch, together with his spouse, Dr. Julia Ogden, and policeman George Crabtree, employs slashing forensic technologies such as biometrics, blood testing, pneumograph, and UV irradiation to solve a variety of horrible cases.

What is Murdoch Mysteries Season 16 going to be about?

Investigator Murdoch and Dr. Julia Ogden are trying to adjust to a new lifestyle with baby Susannah as the 16th season begins. His inventive time-saving devices keep the kid entertained and have also saved up time for Ogden to resume work at the women’s clinic.

Happiness, however, is quite distinct from Murdoch’s friends’ realities. George Crabtree has abandoned his bride-to-be, Effie Newsome, at the altar when his auntie foretells that marrying her might sign her death certificate.

He suffers the befuddlement of Murdoch and Ogden, as well as the fury of Inspector Thomas Brackenreid.

Constable Henry Higgins-Newsome believes he had cold feet and used the curse to justify his actions. But even then he feels Crabtree’s aunt has ulterior reasons and seeks the assistance of Effie and Louise Cherry.
