Pain Hustlers Netflix Release Date Announced, When Is It Coming?

David Yates, famed for directing the final four movies of the Harry Potter series, has directed the upcoming conspiracy movie ‘Pain Hustlers’ which is set to be released later in 2023.

The plot of this movie is adapted from Evan Hughes’ New York Times Magazine article of 2018- ‘The Pain Hustlers’ and his novel published in 2022- ‘The Hard Sell’.

The story revolves around a high school dropout named Liza Drake who gets a job in a falling pharmaceutical start-up. Her workplace is an old-tattered strip mall situated in Central Florida. But her life changes drastically when she finds herself getting embroiled in the webs of criminal conspiracies that lead to fatal consequences.

When is ‘Pain Hustlers’ Getting Released?

An untitled movie directed by David Yates and based on the New York Times Magazine article was announced to be developing on August 18, 2021. Emily Blunt was announced as the lead cast member in May of 2022 with Chris Evans following in July.

In August other cast members were declared to be starring in the movie. Filming began in late August. The film is scheduled to be released on October 27, 2023, on Netflix.

Being cast as Liza Drake we will see British actress Emily Blunt. Award-winning actress Emily Blunt has starred in a number of films and television series. She portrayed Emily Charlton in the renowned 2006 comedy-drama ‘The Devil Wears Prada‘ co-starring with Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway.

Blunt was nominated for the British Academy Film Awards for BAFTA Rising Star Award and Best Film Actress in a Supporting Role in 2007.

In 2017 she starred in the lead role of Rachel Watson in the mystery psychological thriller movie ‘The Girl on the Train’ and won another British Academy Film Award nomination for Best Film Actress in a Leading Role.

Her other important films include ‘The Young Victoria‘, ‘Looper‘, ‘Edge of Tomorrow‘, ‘Into the Woods‘, ‘Sicario’, ‘Mary Poppins Returns’, ‘Salmon Fishing in Yemen’, ‘The Girl On The Train’, ‘A Quiet Place’ etc.

Chris Evans, who is most familiar as Marvel’s Captain America, is another lead cast member of the movie. Cuban-born American actor Andy GarcĂ­a is another cast member of the upcoming movie. His first important role was as George Stone in the 1987 crime drama ‘The Untouchables. His other films include ‘The Godfather Part III‘, ‘The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca’, ‘Hoodlum’, ‘Modigliani’, ‘5 Days of War‘, ‘For Greater Glory’, ‘Max Steel’, ‘Big Gold Brick’, ‘Father of the Bride’, etc.

Canadian American actress Catherine O’Hara is another cast member of the upcoming movie. Her other film credits include ‘The Life Before This’, ‘Best in Show’, ‘A Mighty Wind’, ‘For Your Consideration’ etc. She also starred in the Canadian tv miniseries ‘You’ve Come a Long Way, Katie’.

In 2001 O’Hara gave voice to the main character of Liz Larsen in the Canadian adult animated sitcom ‘Committed’. In another stop motion adult animated sitcom ‘Glenn Martin, DDS’ she gave voice to the character of Jackie Martin from 2009 to 2011.

From 2012 to 2013 he was cast as Frank Houston in the American musical drama series ‘Smash’. From 2017 to 2018 he also played Andy Baker as a recurring cast member in season one of the popular American teen drama series ‘13 Reasons Why‘ and as the main cast member in season two of it.
