Descendants of the Sun” is a South Korean television series that aired from February 24 to April 14, 2016, on KBS2. The drama had Song Hye Kyo, Song Joong Ki, Jin Goo, and Kim Ji Won as their major cast.

The story revolves around the four major characters, Doctor Kang Mo-yeon, the captain of a South Korean Special Forces unit, Yoo Si-jin, Master Sergeant Seo Dae-young, and First Lieutenant Yoon Myung-ju and how they overcome their love issues and natural calamity. It has 16 episodes in total.

Encounter

The drama ‘Encounter’ aired from November 28, 2018, to January 24, 2019, on tvN. It had Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum as its lead characters. Encounter is a complex romance between a free-spirited common man played by Park Bo Gum, who appears to have nothing, and the wealthy CEO of a hotel played by Song Hye Kyo, who appears to have everything but is unhappy with her life. The drama has 16 episodes in total.

The drama was one of the most famous dramas of that time. It had Song Hye Kyo, Rain, Han Eun Jung, and Kim Sung Soo as its leading cast. This drama aims to provide a solution to the question of whether two people—a well-known actor and a regular woman—can grow to love one another in a union that only exists on paper.
