The Cube Season 2 is all set to be released next year in January 2023, and here are the latest updates of the series.
The American adaptation of The Cube has recently become one of our favorite imports. Dwayne Wade is a terrific first-time host, and the production crew understood what made The Cube a cult phenomenon.
But, unfortunately, after the first season ended, a lot transpired, including the disastrous restructuring of Warner Discovery’s holdings. For the longest time, we were sure that The Cube would be lost amid the chaos and disorder.
The Cube Season 2 Release Date
The Cube will return for its Season 2 on January 8, 2023, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
What is The Cube Season 2 about?
Every episode of “The Cube” allows host and executive producer Dwyane Wade to demonstrate his skills. Each side can bring Dwyane in for “One Shot,” a call-to-action in which our NBA champion enters “The Cube” to contribute his athletic skills and compete on their behalf for one try only. In addition, the series debuts with the most recent augmented reality GFX and camera technologies.
The Cube follows contestant pairs as they undergo seemingly simple physical and mental activities while confined in ‘The Cube,’ an imposing glass box with its personality and attitude, hoping to earn a massive cash prize.
Working alone or as a team, each partner gets nine lives to finish seven games for increasing amounts of money as they get closer to winning the $250,000 prize.
In addition to the Simplify assist and the fan-favorite One Shot assist, which allows teams to invite celebrity athlete Wade to take their place within the Cube, the upcoming season will have a third assist for contestants to acquire when they reach the $50,000 game.
The third assist, Trial Run, is a free practice attempt at a game – no prize for winning, no penalty for failing – but the critical choice comes later when they must choose whether to walk or take that game on for real.

Who will we see in The Cube Season 2?
Dwyane Wade, three-time NBA Champion, one of the NBA’s 75 all-time best players, & founder of 59th & Prairie Entertainment, hosts The Cube.
Season two will include additional games, celebrities, & winners. Gabrielle Union-Wade and TV celebrity La La Anthony team up to beat ‘The Cube’ and raise money for charity in the first episode.
Other famous visitors competing for charity include NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal, CMA & ACM Award-winning country music sensation, GRAMMY Award-nominated Jimmie Allen, and NBA Champion Iman Shumpert.
Objective Media Group America, an All3Media America company, developed “The Cube” for TBS. Dwyane Wade and his production business, 59th & Prairie Entertainment, Layla Smith and Jilly Pearce for Objective Media Group, and showrunner Glenn Coomber executive produce the series.
