Gabriel’s new and better restaurant might get a Michelin star.
Gabriel plans to give his restaurant a gourmet makeover inspired by his grandmother, Gigi, after negotiating a deal with Antoine & Alfie to take more control over it. Luc, Emily’s coworker, sends his ex-girlfriend, Marianne, who seems to be a Michelin Star critic, during the first week of its opening.
Gabriel had previously told Emily that earning the renowned award had been his lifelong ambition as a chef. Now, owing to Luc and Emily’s plan to bring Marianne in, he may be able to achieve that goal. When Emily tells him the news during his engagement party, he kisses her hand — and Camille watches it.
Camille canceled her engagement with Gabriel.
Camille’s finding of Gabriel with Emily was the final straw in her relationship with Gabriel, apart from her love affair with Sofia, the artist from her gallery. At her engagement party, she declares that she made a vow with Emily not to date Gabriel and that she broke it to end up with him.
She also confronted her mother for putting pressure on her to carry out her plan to keep Gabriel to herself, and she called off the engagement before walking out of the party.
Will Emily choose Alfie or Gabriel?
In classic Emily in Paris fashion, there’s even more drama in the finale around her love triangle with Alfie & Gabriel. We almost made it through the entire season without Emily’s love life exploding until Gabriel called her drunk and confessed that he still had emotions for her.
Camille called off her engagement to Gabriel in the final episode of season three due to his feelings for Emily. Of course, Alfie was present and reportedly ended his relationship with Emily (though this is not proven) when he stormed out and stated that he never truly felt like he was “her guy.”
The episode ends without revealing if Sophie pursues Gabriel after the engagement is canceled and Alfie leaves. Gabriel and Emily getting together might be a storyline aspect for season four; we’ll have to wait for it.
Is Camille Expecting?
After Camille and Alfie departed the engagement party, Gabriel and Emily were left on the balcony alone with their thoughts. Emily not only revealed that her love for Gabriel had never gone, but he also revealed that Camille was pregnant when she came from Greece with Sofia.
It’s unclear if Camille is genuinely pregnant or whether she used the pregnancy as a tactic to stay with Gabriel, given she broke off the engagement and appeared to have feelings for Sofia when they argued at the café earlier in the episode. We’ll have to wait till season four to find out.
