Blackpink is one of the most famous South Korean girl groups. The popularity of this group is all over the world. The group consists of four members Rosé, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa. The group made its debut with its single album Square One in August 2016.

On December 23, the dance video of the lead single “How You Like That” crossed 1.3 billion views on YouTube.

The dance video of “How You Like That” by Blackpink is the first ever k-pop dance practice video to cross 1 billion views on YouTube. The song was released on June 26, 2020.

It was the pre-release single from ‘The Album’ (2020), the group’s first Korean-language studio album. Blackpink had commercial success with “How You Like That,” which spent three weeks at the top of the Gaon Digital Chart and became Blackpink’s third-most popular song in the nation.

Blackpink’s How You Like That Surpasses 1.3 Billion Views.

The song has many records in its name. Along with topping the national charts in Hungary, Singapore, and Malaysia, the song also peaked at the top of Billboard’s K-pop Hot 100 and World Digital Songs charts, and it was included in the top 26 record rankings worldwide.

The song received platinum certification for streaming in South Korea and Japan, as well as gold and silver certifications in Canada and the United Kingdom respectively. The physical version of the song also received platinum certification in South Korea for selling more than 250,000 copies.

At the time of its release, the music video broke a number of records on YouTube as well as the most-watched premiere, the most views in a single day for a music video which was 86.3 million, and the quickest times to reach 100 million and 200 million views.

With over 20 million likes, it also became one of the most-liked YouTube videos. Now it has added another achievement by surpassing 1 billion views on the dance video of the single.

Blackpink is often referred to as the “biggest girl group in the world” due to her success on the international level.

They were the first girl group from Korea to enter and top the Billboard Emerging Artists list as well as the first girl group to top the Billboard Artists 100.
