Park Eun Bin to Be Cast In a New Rom-com Drama?

Park Eun Bin is one of the well-known South Korean actresses. She made her debut at the very young age of five. She received her first leading role in the drama “Operation Proposal” (2012). It was a time-traveling romantic drama.

On December 14, according to media reports the actress Park Eun Bin may return to the small screen with another drama. The actress may take up the leading role in the drama “Diva of the Deserted Island.”

Park Eun Bin’s agency has also commented on this. One of the representatives of the agency came forward and said, “This is one of the projects that is being reviewed by Park Eun Bin.” The drama will be directed by Oh Choong Hwan and is written by Park Hye Ryun. The director Oh Choong Hwan and the writer Park Hye Ryun have worked together earlier on “While You Were Sleeping” and “Start-Up.”

The romantic comedy “Diva of the Deserted Island” tells the story of a girl who has accidentally swept away to a deserted island and is found there 15 years later. She is followed throughout the narrative as she adjusts to the outside world after being cut off.

Park Eun Bin will be taking up the role of Mok Ha who always aspires to become a singer but somehow goes missing and drifts to a deserted island where she survives for 15 years on her own.

Later on, when she is rescued and brought back to the modern world, it becomes difficult for her to adjust. The drama centers her life and the struggle she faces to cope-up with real life.

The actress was also named Gallup Korea’s Television Actor of the Year in 2022. The most recent drama that she has worked in is “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.” This drama is one of her most successful dramas.

She received praise for her performance in the drama from both the critics and the public. At the 28th Critics’ Choice Awards, the drama was also nominated for Best Foreign Language Series.
