This is a romantic drama movie adapted from the same named novel by Sarah Dessen. The plot takes Auden and Eli, two teenagers on nightly journeys through the town of Colby as they start to grow closer to one another.
Auden is an insomniac who meets another insomniac Eli in the summer before college starts. Together they experience a carefree life which is a totally new thing for Auden.
Emma Pasarow and Belmont Cameli portrayed Auden and Eli respectively in the movie. Along for the Ride was released on May 6, 2022, on Netflix.
The School for Good and Evil-
Paul Feig directed this fantasy movie that is adapted from the same named novel by Soman Chainani that was published in 2013.
The plot revolves around two best friends named Sophie and Agatha who are enrolled in an enchanted school whose aim is to maintain a balance between good and evil by training would be heroes and villains. But when Sophie and Agatha are forced to fight against each other in an epic battle, their fates change.
Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie starred as Sophie and Agatha respectively in the movie. The School for Good and Evil was released on October 19, 2022.
Hello, Goodbye, and Everything In Between-
This romantic movie is adapted from the same named novel by Jennifer E. Smith. The plot revolves around Claire and Aidan who even after deciding on breaking up before entering college, cannot help re-questioning their decision as they spend one last epic date revisiting their past experiences together.
Jordan Fisher and Talia Ryder portrayed Aidan and Clare respectively in the movie Hello Goodbye and Everything In Between was released on July 6, 2022, on Netflix.
Tall Girl 2-
This is a teen romance movie that serves as a sequel to ‘Tall Girl’ which came in 2019. The plot centers around the tall girl of school- Jodi Kreyman. But this year is quite different for Jodi as she has to face her new popularity.
But when miscommunications begin to cause trouble for her, she feels the most need of standing “tall”. Ava Michelle has reprised her role as Jodi in the sequel movie. Tall Girl 2 was released on February 11, 2022, on Netflix.
My Best Friend’s Exorcism-
This is a supernatural comedy horror movie adapted from the same named novel by Grady Hendrix that was published in 2016. The plot surrounds Abby and Gretchen and their close friendship.
But as they busy themselves navigating pop culture and boys, a paranormal force begins to embroil Gretchen which threatens the peace of both best friends. Elsie Fisher and Amiah Miller have been cast as Abby and Gretchen respectively in the movie My Best Friend’s Exorcism premiered on September 30, 2022.

This is a musical comedy movie that takes a gender-swapped take on the famous tale of Cinderella. The plot revolves around an aspiring sneaker designer named Eli who lives in Queens and works at her late mother’s shoe store.

This is a Norwegian romance drama movie the plot of which centers around a teenager named Lena who is struggling to keep her past scandals a secret while maintaining an unlikely relationship with the party-loving brown prince Karl Johan.
