Red Velvet and Aespa to Work Together.

Red Velvet and Aespa are a South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment. Both groups are going to come up with a new collaborative song. Red Velvet made its debut with the single “Happiness” on August 1, 2014. Aespa made its debut with the single “Black Mamba” on November 17, 2020.

The album will be released under the upcoming agency-wide winter album “2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE.” The teaser images for the collaboration titled “Beautiful Christmas” was released on December 10 and the full collaboration will be released on December 14.

SM Entertainment through their Instagram account has released the teaser image for “Beautiful Christmas.” The members of Red Velvet and Aespa were beautifully dressed up as Santa which was enough to draw everyone’s attention towards it.

In other teaser images, the group members of both Red Velvet and Aespa were seen dressed up in a cozy sleepover. In both the teaser images the members are looking extremely gorgeous.

Red Velvet’s music is reflective of their group name: the “red” side, which concentrates primarily on pop music, tries out electronic and funk occasionally, while the “velvet” side is more focused on R&B with ’90s influences that incorporate ballad and hip hop.

“Red Flavor” and “Power Up,” two of their successful tracks, peaked at the top of the Gaon Digital Chart. The Aespa group includes four members Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning. The name of the group, Aespa, is a combination of the English words “aspect,” which means “two sides,” and the initials of the words “avatar” and “experience” (Avatar X Experience), to represent the concept of “meeting another self and experiencing the new world.”

Aespa’s single, “Next Level,” was released by SM Entertainment on May 4, 2021. The company described the music as a dance and hip-hop track featuring a “groovy” rap, an “energetic” bass, and “strong vocals.”

The song “Next Level,” was Aespa’s third which peaked at number three on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
