EVERGLOW Cancelled Their South Asia tour.

The South Korean girl group Everglow has announced that they have canceled their upcoming South Asia tour.

The group consists of six members which include E: U, Sihyeon, Mia, Onda, Aisha, and Yiren. In March 2019, the group debuted with the single album “Arrival of Everglow.”

On December 9, concert promoters Magic Sound K-Pop and MakeItLive announced that Everglow’s South Asia tour scheduled to happen next week has been canceled. They issued an official statement in relation to the cancellation of the tour. The statement is as follows:

“Dear Southeast Asian FOREVERs, We regret to tell you that the Manila, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta dates of the EVERGLOW SOUTHEAST ASIA TOUR have been canceled.

We made an effort to provide our EVERGLOW members and the FOREVERs in Southeast Asia with the best concert possible, but it was not possible at the time.

All FOREVERs who have purchased tickets will have their tickets returned through the appropriate ticketing systems once a refund request has been made.

We sincerely apologize for not being able to provide the Southeast Asia tour of EVERGLOW to you all. We apologize to the fans for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We will continue to support EVERGLOW, and we sincerely hope that you will do the same.”

Through the “Crank in Film” series on Stone Music Entertainment’s YouTube channel, the group’s members were made public by the company.

With more than 23,000 copies sold as of September 2019, Arrival of Everglow debuted and peaked at number six on the Gaon Album Chart, while the lead single, “Bon Bon Chocolat,” debuted and peaked at number five on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart with 5,000 copies sold in the US as of August.

Everglow earned its first music program award on The Show on September 24 as a result of its commercial success. The group’s debut extended play (EP), Reminiscence, featuring the lead track “Dun Dun,” was released on February 3.

The EP debuted at number four on the Album Chart and sold over 27,000 copies in its first month of release, while the song made Everglow’s first entry on one of Gaon’s single charts, reaching number 63 on the Download Chart.
