Deavan took to Instagram to share what a typical day of caring for her son Taeyang looks like. The 25 year old shared an emotional clip of the little boy in and out of hospital. The clip showed Taeyang in his pajamas playing with his toys and visiting the doctor. The young mum poured her heart out in the caption, sharing how “rough” it was looking after the 3 year old.
She also revealed that she goes to the hospital once or twice a week. She added that the child is a “fighter” and is responding well to treatment. She went on to thank everyone who has shown support and love, adding that the GoFundMe account set up for Taeyang is almost at its $30,000 goal.

The 90 Day Fiancé star has been using a GoFundMe page to share updates on her son’s condition, where she most recently revealed that he was throwing up a lot. However, the latest updates show that Taeyang’s health is improving. Deavan’s mother Elicia Clegg, who runs the site, recently revealed that while the family was concerned about the little boy’s “platelet count” because he was getting “nosebleeds” during treatment, his health had not been negatively affected. Elicia said that Taeyang’s recent treatment “went so well”, he didn’t show many symptoms and “even did well with the lumbar puncture”.
Elicia then went on to share that Taeyang is moving into an aggressive “next phase of treatment” with a “20% rate of allergic reactions.” But she said the oncologist has a backup plan in case the new treatment fails. She added that the experience was “overwhelming, confusing” and “terrifying” but praised her grandson for his strength in the face of painful treatment.
The family received help from 90 Day Fiancé viewers who sympathized with the pregnant mother. However, some fans have refused to support Deavan because they believe she is using her son’s condition to make money.
Deavan, who recently ended Taeyang’s custody battle with ex-husband Jihoon, answered fans’ questions during a live session on Instagram. Among other things, the reality star answered questions about Jihoon’s involvement in the child’s life and stated that he hasn’t spoken to him in a while. She also hinted that the situation with Jihoon is partly responsible for why she now has a fundraiser for Taeyang’s treatment.
