What is the plot of the series?

The title of the crime detective clearly mentions that the entire story of the series will be revolving around Will Trent who is a detective he was abandoned at a very young age, faces several hardships, and grows up in the harsh and sad realities of this world.

And in spite of facing the hardest and darkest realities of life he chooses to make other people’s life beautiful and easy by choosing the profession of detective. And he soon becomes a special agent in Atlanta’s foster care home. He also joined the George Bureau of Investigations and was doing his best there.
