Concept of Compass Point West

This title is typical of a resource management strategy game with a land expansion theme. The player builds structures inside their community to build a flourishing village. Meanwhile, you must travel the West and transform deserted communities into money-making opportunities.

There is one unique feature that distinguishes this game from the rest. Opening card decks in the tavern allow players to recruit combatants.

As you amass your posse of sidekicks, you may combine numerous cards to form a single, more powerful gunfighter. When your army is ready, employ it to take on robbers who have taken over abandoned oil rigs.

Once you’ve started constructing your town, you’ll see a few significant tasks:

Construct or improve buildings whenever you have sufficient resources. This will strengthen your colony and increase its material production.

Explore the area and take control of any abandoned villages besieged by bandits.

Build a vast, powerful posse in the tavern by opening card decks whenever possible.

Players in the town are continually planning to grow by building new facilities. Buildings go into three categories: economics, which allows for more gold and resources, support, which includes items like the bar, a fort, and a medical cart to repair injured sidekicks; and defense, which enables you to hire experts to protect your territory, such as a Pinkerton agent.

You can take a deck every two hours and pick two cards in the bar. Then, build a strong posse of sidekicks to invade and fight the bad guys out in the wilderness.

When in a fight, players may select which sidekicks will engage. Sidekicks, which may be upgraded alongside the fort, cost a limited number of combat points. Sidekicks have their thoughts, but players can leave a trail for the posse to follow. It is sometimes wiser to go directly for the oil rig, while other times fighting the robbers first would help you win.

There is much waiting for buildings to be completed, but you feel free to spend real money to build something.

We recommend this game if you enjoy resource management strategy games. It is currently accessible for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and will soon be available on Netflix.
