Assassin’s Creed Mirage Netflix Game: Everything You Need to Know!

Published by

Since Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not be the series’ next flagship release, Ubisoft has offered us a sneak peek at three new titles. The first is Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, which will be set in Japan, followed by Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe and Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity, a more prominent gaming hub, is still developing and will be available in a few years. As a result, we anticipate that Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, and Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe will be revealed sooner before being integrated into Infinity.

Expected Release Date of Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Ubisoft

Ubisoft said at the closing of the cinematic trailer that the game will be released on platforms next year. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released sometime in Spring 2023.

Ubisoft has discontinued the yearly Assassin’s Creed releases. Instead, it has lengthened the development time for big franchise entrants. This makes predicting the precise release date significantly more difficult. Nonetheless, assuming no significant delays, the game should be available by mid-2023 at the very latest.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to be launched in the spring of next year for PC, Amazon Luna, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.

Storyline

Ubisoft

This Assassin’s Creed game will take place around 20 years prior to the actual incidents of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Basim’s rise to the protagonist in the next game isn’t surprising, given that he was one of the primary characters in the latter.

Although this is another main Assassin’s Creed game, it will be more of a side project than a flagship title. The plot will trace Basim’s progression from a minor robber to Master Assassin wandering Baghdad’s streets.

Unfortunately, the narrative takes so long in the past that the Assassin Order isn’t even mentioned. The order is instead known as The Hidden Ones. This information should keep us busy for the next few months.

The game is more like a coming-of-age scenario, with Basim learning from his mentor, Roshan. We want to learn more about Basim’s story and connection to the Norse God Loki, as shown in Valhalla.

The Gameplay

Games Radar

The Assassin’s Creed games have similar gameplay mechanics that are typically improved with each subsequent release. Because Mirage is set around 861 AD, we don’t anticipate current gaming techniques.

We also saw several non-Animus tasks in the game. Nonetheless, the gameplay will have all of the refinements from past Assassin’s Creed games and some upgrades. The overall mobility and gameplay should be comparable to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Because the game’s geographical location will be Baghdad, Ubisoft has announced that four separate districts will be available for exploration. Karkh and the Round City were essential parts of Baghdad’s Golden Age when the city led the globe in philosophy, science, and technology.

Alamut, the Assassin stronghold, will also be included in the game. This is the parent castle of Masyaf, the Assassin fortress shown in the original Assassin’s Creed game and Assassin’s Creed Revelations.

There will be various improvements to Basim himself. His eagle will offer you a bird’s-eye view of the location and knowledge of potential assassination tactics and how to approach a scenario. Furthermore, Basim will feel more nimble, with the ability to pause time, making rapid-fire assassinations possible.

Mirage, according to Ubisoft, will have aspects from all previous mainstream Assassin’s Creed games. It’s also meant to be a tribute to the initial Assassin’s Creed game.
