The Riches Release Date, Cast, Plot, And What we know so far

Amazon has released the teaser of its upcoming family drama series “The Riches.” What is it about? How promising does it seem? Let’s check it out.

The Riches is a drama series based on the two-sided family of a millionaire, Stephen Richards. The story starts when Richards is met with a stroke, causing his sudden death. Now his cosmetic empire, Fair and Glory is left in the wild.

Stephen Richards has a second wife in the series, named Claudia. Together they have 3 children, Gus, Alesha, and Wanda. Also from his first wife, he has two children living in New York City, a daughter, Nina, and a son, Simon. Both of them have established businesses there. (Had to justify the name of the series.)

The drama starts when both sides of the family start their hunt to sit on the throne of Fair and Glory, Stephen Richards’ giant cosmetic company.

Riches is created by Abby Ajayi. Jourdan Dunn who will play Dunn in the series mentioned in an interview that Riches is the story of a Black British and of course, Rich family who will showcase different emotions, both good and bad in this 6-episode series.

People have already started to compare The Riches with the HBO hit series, Succession. As it has an IMDB rating of 8.8 with a whopping 94% rotten tomatoes, expectations are high for this stunning-looking Black family drama.

Abby Ajayi’s The Riches will have 6 episodes in total. The world will be able to meet the dramatic family of Richards on December 2nd.
