They Cloned Tyrone Netflix Release Date, Cast, and More

They Cloned Tyrone starring John Boyega, Jamie Foxx, and Teyonah Parris is all set to be released on Netflix, and here we are with the latest details of the movie.

Following the completion of the Star Wars prequel trilogy, John Boyega has continued to work on a variety of projects, including the charming crime thriller Candid Synapse and his Golden Globe-winning performance in the 2020 mini-series Small Axe.

He has continued to make excellent films this year alone, including the historical action drama The Woman King and the suspense drama Breaking. The next movie on his resume is the forthcoming sci-fi thriller They Cloned Tyrone on Netflix, which will mark a break from his earlier appearances.

On September 24, 2022, the initial teaser was revealed as part of Netflix’s TUDUM celebration. Boyega, Teyonah Parris, and Jamie Foxx all appear at the beginning of the story, which takes place inside an elevator.

Despite having firearms, Parris and Foxx’s characters enjoy a funny moment when they start singing “I’m Goin’ Down” by Mary J. Blige.

The three are then seen trespassing into a research facility, which is just the tip of a much larger conspiracy that involves experiments, abductions, and monitoring that is putting a Black community in peril.

The tale promises some big chuckles along the line with the interaction of the core three, in addition to the somber issue at the center of the film.

Jamie Foxx, an Oscar winner best known for his roles in Ray, Django Unchained, Baby Driver, and other movies, is one of the other two main actors in the movie. Foxx portrays Slick Charles, a sex worker broker and a friend of Fontaine’s.

Teyonah Parris could play Yo-Yo, Charles’ elite sex agent, as the last actor. Parris is well-known for her work on Netflix’s Dear White People and Friday night lights Mad Men. She also would be appearing in the next Candyman movie and the Disney+ series WandaVision.

An unusual trio explores a string of unsettling happenings in this pulpy sci-fi mystery caper, which leads them to discover a sinister plot that is immediately below their noses. Fontaine, a local drug dealer, is gunned down by competitor Isaac and is afterward startled to find himself unhurt when he wakes up in his bed the following day.

He starts researching the incident with Slick Charles and Yo-Yo, and their investigation eventually takes them to a sizable subterranean complex where a government-backed facility is conducting trials upon the local Black inhabitants.

Wider story summaries have said that Fontaine, a village drug dealer, would be slain by his competitor before the primary mystery of They Cloned Tyrone begins. But the next morning, Fontaine awakens in his bed rather than continuing to remain dead.

Fontaine, Slick Charles, and Yo-Yo start investigating this strange occurrence as result, and their investigation takes them to an industrial bunker where a dubious government organization is conducting experimentation on the Black population.

They Cloned Tyrone will be released on Netflix on 30th December 2022.
